Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first minute. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round. She also received an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
